Last night consisted of a delicious meal on the patio followed by sitting around a warm fire beneath the stars.

Whether I'm walking to class, spinning at the gym, or feeling nostalgic, Adele, you fit my mood perfectly.

Little Thing of the day: Timeless music.

Being up at the crack o' for my chemistry lab this morning, I couldn't help but notice the few signs that spring is on its way outside of Dobo Hall.

Little Thing of the day: Spring trees in bloom.

I wish I could say that I now have more time to update my blog with as much detail and personalized writing as in the past. Unfortunately, in college when it comes to sleep, good grades, and a social life, you're only allowed to pick two. Thus, short and sweet will be my motto for the next bit of time. Look forward to each upcoming "Little Thing" of the day.

Little Thing: Perfectly steeped tea..not too bitter, but just right.

Let's be honest, very few people actually keep their new year's resolutions past January. Thus, allow me to gloss over that subject. Rather, it's time for a few reviews.

I just finished reading, The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. No, it's by no means the more intriguing genre I find myself inclined to. Yet, it was a pleasant, well rounded read...perfect for vacation. The plot was well thought out, characters were thoroughly developed, and the humor kept me turning pages. Who knew a dog's perspective on life could be so entertaining? Though the middle dragged four or five pages too long, it nonetheless turned out to be a pleasant read. I wish I had more time for these types of novels.

Typically, iTunes giftcards leave me indecisive and buying songs from here and there. Rarely do I find an entire albub to my liking, but in this case, Brett Dennen was the exception. His style seems to be a mix between Jack Johnson, Matt Wertz, and Jeff Buckley. Is that is even a possible combination? Anywho, his lyrics are simple and cheery, but catchy enough to keep your ears perked.

"And I've been waiting all this life
in the company of one
and I know I am young
but I don't want to be alone
if you could only just
consider the two of us"
